The New Mexico State University Aggie football team (5–6, 3–4) competes for bowl eligibility against the South Alabama University Jaguars (4–7, 3–4) this afternoon at Aggie Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. If the Aggies win today, they will be bowl eligible for the first time since 2002 when they finished 7–5 under Coach Tony Samuel. The Aggies have not been to a bowl game since 1960. It’s the longest-running bowl drought in college football. (Image courtesy of New Mexico State University)
