A fire broke out inside the Ed and Harold Foreman Engineering Complex (aka Engineering Complex lll) early Monday morning. The fire was reportedly isolated to one room within the building and was extinguished quickly.

University officials indicated the western wing of the building will be closed at least through the end of the day today as cleaning crews work to mop up water discharged by the building’s sprinkler system.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
